How do you scan stocks with StockNotify Chartbook?
Chartbook is StockNotify's workspace for scanning predefined stock lists. Choose a list, view 4, 6, or 9 mini charts in grid mode, and click one to open its full chart in flip mode. Left and right arrow keys move between grid pages or individual charts; Escape returns from flip mode to the grid.
Chartbook currently uses its predefined lists, not the symbols saved in My Stocks. Its purpose is chart review. It does not import broker fills or calculate an audited trading journal, and the displayed charts do not recommend which stock to buy or sell.

How Chartbook works
Select a predefined list at the top, then choose the 2x2, 2x3, or 3x3 grid control. Use pagination or the arrow keys to inspect the next group. Clicking a mini chart opens that symbol in flip mode, where you can select an interval and review the full chart. Switching lists resets navigation to the beginning of the newly selected list.
What do the mini-chart price and percentage represent?
The current grid requests daily historical candles over 180 days. Its displayed price is the last returned candle's close, and its percentage compares that close with the first returned candle's open. That percentage is a change over the loaded history, not necessarily today's move. Open the full chart and check current data before interpreting a mini chart as an immediate price observation.

Is Chartbook a trading journal?
Chartbook is a chart-scanning workspace for watchlist review. It is not described as a broker-synced trading journal or an audited record of fills, fees and profit or loss. Use it to review charts and select your own monitoring checkpoints; keep execution records in your broker or separate journal.
Why might a mini chart be empty?
A mini chart needs usable historical candles to render. An unavailable history request or too little returned data can show an error rather than a chart. Confirm the selected list and symbol, open the full chart, and check whether its history loads. Report the instrument and approximate time if the issue persists. An empty panel is not evidence that the stock had no activity.
Chartbook is not a recommendation engine
Chartbook organizes review. It does not decide which stock to buy or sell. Users should still apply their own analysis, risk process, and independent data verification.
