How does StockNotify multi-timeframe analysis work?
Multi-timeframe analysis, or MTFA, examines the same instrument across a higher, intermediate, and lower timeframe. In StockNotify, open MTFA on the full chart, choose Both, Buy, or Short as the scan side, then select a timeframe preset. The tool checks available data, demand or supply location, trend, zones, and the path to a calculated target.
The report can show a setup verdict, zone grade, levels, warnings, and an exportable explanation. These are outputs of StockNotify's analysis rules, not measured success probabilities or personalized investment advice. Which three timeframes does each preset use?
Each preset uses a fixed sequence: higher timeframe for location, intermediate timeframe for trend, and lower timeframe for the candidate setup. Select the sequence that matches the question you are reviewing. The names identify analysis horizons; they do not promise an income amount, holding period, or return.
- HIT: 75-minute → 15-minute → 5-minute.
- DIT: Daily → 75-minute → 15-minute.
- WIT: Weekly → Daily → 75-minute.
- MIT: Monthly → Weekly → Daily.
- QIT: Quarterly → Monthly → Weekly.
How should you read the verdict and warnings?
The report labels a result Strong, Moderate, Weak, or No Setup and gives a reason. Review the individual analysis steps as well as the label: a zone may conflict with the trend, have an intervening zone before entry, or lack room before opposing structure. Where available, the report includes the selected zone, grade, entry, stop loss, target, risk-reward calculation, and target-planning context. A higher grade is not evidence of a tested win rate.
Does No Setup always mean the market has no opportunity?
No. The engine can return No Setup when required data could not be fetched, no suitable execution zone was found, or opposing structure prevents its required target path. Read the reason to distinguish a data problem from a result of the analysis rules. Confirm the instrument and required intervals, and avoid treating a missing-data result as a statement about future price direction.
How do you preserve a report or create an alert?
Export Report downloads a text explanation with the symbol, preset, analysis time, verdict, steps, and available warnings. It is a record of that analysis, not a continuously updated forecast. If you choose Set Alert from a selected setup, inspect the proposed levels and direction before saving, then verify the saved alert in the dashboard. The report itself does not submit a broker order.
