StockNotify Editorial and Corrections Policy

This policy applies to StockNotify guides, comparisons, feature explanations, trust pages, and planning-tool documentation. Product pages are checked against the current application and source code. External market facts are checked against first-party sources such as exchange, regulator, or vendor documentation whenever those sources are available. Marketing claims must remain narrower than the evidence that supports them.

A feature is described as available only when it can be confirmed in the current StockNotify product or repository. Beta behavior, notification delivery, data timing, and provider dependencies are stated with their limitations. We do not publish unsupported uptime, speed, accuracy, delivery-success, user-count, or performance claims. Screenshots and worked examples must reflect real product behavior and must not imply an investment outcome.

Primary sources are preferred: official exchange pages for market structure, regulator material for investor-protection context, and a product's own documentation for comparison facts. A source link shows what was checked; it does not imply endorsement. When a source does not state a detail, StockNotify marks the detail as unknown instead of treating absence of documentation as proof that a feature does not exist.

A published date records when an editorial resource first became public. A reviewed or modified date changes only after a meaningful review of the visible content, structured data, sources, or internal links. Copyright changes and automated deployments do not justify a fresh editorial date. Time-sensitive comparisons and market-session references are reviewed more often than evergreen product concepts.

Readers can report a possible factual error to service@stocknotify.in with the page URL, disputed statement, and supporting source. The team checks the current product behavior or primary documentation, corrects confirmed errors, updates the review date when the change is material, and avoids silently changing a claim in a way that reverses its meaning. Minor spelling or formatting fixes may not receive a new review date.

StockNotify content explains software, alerts, market-monitoring habits, and publicly documented market structure. It does not recommend securities, predict prices, publish model portfolios, or replace a broker, exchange, registered adviser, or independent verification. Examples use user-defined levels to explain arithmetic and workflow; they are not trade calls or evidence of likely returns.

StockNotify comparison pages disclose their method, checked-on date, source links, and important unknowns. No product receives a higher position because it pays for inclusion, and no affiliate relationship should be implied unless it is explicitly disclosed on the page. Competitor information is limited to verifiable documentation and should be rechecked before a purchase decision because plans and features can change.
